Sell your valuable items without having to worry about writing descriptions, setting prices, posting on different platforms, or talking to buyers.
How it works
1. Send us a photo of your item
We recognize it using AI and generate a product description. We may ask you a couple of follow-up questions, about size or state of item, for example.
2. We post it on the best platforms
Approve the listing, and pay a small €0.50 publishing fee. We post your item on top platforms (eBay, Vinted, Depop…) and handle everything until it’s sold.
3. You get paid
When a sale is concluded, you just have to post the article and wait to get paid!

We’re a team of passionate individuals based in Berlin, united by our vast experience in launching consumer products, as well as solving operational headaches and technical challenges. Our shared love for the circular economy and the common frustration of posting on second-hand marketplaces led us to create SEMPI. Our mission is to make reselling your things as easy as a breeze, helping to keep tons of unwanted items out of landfills.

We charge a €0.50 fee per item listed and a 10% commission on successful sales.
The €0.50 listing fee helps us cover the costs of generating high-quality descriptions and listing your item across multiple platforms, increasing its visibility and the likelihood of a quick sale.Example

Upon sale, you receive €90 and Sempi receives €10

When you submit an item on Sempi, you are committing to sell it if a buyer is found. However, before the listing goes live, we’ll provide you with a description and price estimate based on the photos you upload. You’ll need to confirm these details before the item is officially listed for sale.
By submitting an item, you agree that:
You are the rightful owner of the item.
The item is authentic.
The photos you provide are original.
You will ship the item to the buyer if a sale is concluded.

The time it takes to sell depends on the item you’re selling and the price we’ve agreed upon. We aim to give you a price estimate that balances getting you the best value while attracting buyers. By listing your item on multiple popular platforms, we maximize its exposure and increase the chances of a quick sale.
However, if the minimum price is set too high or demand is low, it may take longer to find a buyer.

You will receive a shipping label when a sale is concluded. All you need to do is drop the packaged item off at a post office or partner venue within 3 days.

Once the buyer confirms they've received the item, we will receive the payment within 1-2 days, depending on which platform the sale was concluded. Then, we’ll automatically credit your Sempi wallet with the full amount, minus our fee. You can request a transfer to your bank account at any time, and we’ll process it within 3 business days.
