Role Overview:
We are seeking a Growth Marketing Manager with a strong performance marketing background and a minimum of two years’ experience. This role focuses on acquiring new users through data-driven strategies, paid advertising, and organic growth experiments, while overseeing the overall marketing roadmap. You’ll work closely with founders and have a high impact on the development of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Marketing & Optimization
Plan and run targeted ad campaigns (Google, Meta, TikTok) with a modest but growing budget.
Adjust spend and prioritize the most effective channels.
Continuously test ad creatives and landing pages, incorporating user feedback to optimize ROI.
Strategic Experimentation
Propose and run experiments (A/B tests, new platform trials) to discover untapped growth levers.
Balance long-term brand-building with short-term user acquisition goals.
Work closely with founders to align experiments with broader company objectives and product updates.
Organic & Content Collaboration
Oversee SEO strategies (keyword research, on-page optimizations) to complement paid efforts.
Coordinate with team members (or external resources) on content initiatives, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
Manage social media channels, ensuring a consistent voice and fostering audience engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
Identify opportunities for low-cost marketing channels (partnerships, communities, influencer collaborations, events…).
Analytics & Reporting
Set up tracking (Google Analytics, Tag Manager) to gather insights on user behaviour and funnel performance.
Provide regular reports on growth metrics, highlighting wins, challenges, and next steps.
Use data to iterate quickly, shifting budgets or channels as soon as results are clear.
Cross-Functional Teamwork
Collaborate closely with product and tech to improve the user journey and increase conversions.
Share learnings and feedback with founders, ensuring marketing strategies remain aligned with Sempi’s evolving goals.
Potentially guide junior teammates or interns as our marketing function expands.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years in growth or performance marketing, preferably with exposure to an early-stage startup environment.
Technical Skills:
Comfortable running small-to-mid scale paid campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok.
Familiar with analytics tools and able to interpret data effectively.
Understanding of SEO principles and inbound marketing.
Soft Skills:
Creative problem-solver who balances short-term wins with long-term brand building.
Hands-on and proactive, able to pivot strategies based on real-time results.
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Education: Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred—but proven experience matters most.
Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.
